Christie Nicholson

Entrepreneur-in-Residence

Christie Nicholson has extensive experience in three fields that normally stand apart: tech startups, corporate innovation and science journalism. She is a former Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Citibank, the co-founder of the publishing startup Publet, and an award-winning journalist. She is an adjunct professor at NYU where she designed a 5-week program in startup entrepreneurship. For the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science, Nicholson has coached more than 3,000 scientists on how to communicate clearly and persuasively with colleagues, policy makers and the public.

Nicholson is also on the board for South by South West Interactive and a co-curator of PopTech. She is an AngelPad founder and holds degrees from Dalhousie University in Canada and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism where she was awarded the Eibel Fellowship.
